Poul Cadovious, Bjorn Wiinblad, Mygge vintage dining table by Cado, 1970`s ca Danish !

Circular aluminium tulip base dining table, designed by Poul Cadovious & Bjorn Wiinblad with a hand painted top decoration by Mygge, produced by Cado, 1970`s ca, Denmark. Consists of a circular black & brown lacquered top with gold gilt heighlighting upon a brushed aluminium base. Great effect created by the contrast between the highly ornate top and the overall minimal design. Good size table which seats 6-8 people. Very good vintage condition. Top and base have a nice age patina which gives character to the piece. The base has only minor marks. The top unscrews from the base for easy transport. The artist `Mygge` who painted and signed this beautiful work was a student of Bjorn Wiinblad`s. The swirling calligraphic style brush work, is typical of Wiinblad`s unique whimsical style.
